A begging ban will be enforced on Zhuhai's main roads, government buildings, schools, hospitals, bus stations, ports, airport, public squares, cinemas and tourist sites.
The rule was jointly issued by Zhuhai's civil administration, public security and urban administration departments Tuesday.
The city introduced the begging ban in July, but only in areas around checkpoint.
Those who stop pedestrians to ask for money, sell flowers, stop passing vehicles to demand money by cleaning cars will be prohibited, the rule says.
Police would take action against beggars or those who used children and handicapped people as beggars, it said.
Guangdong's capital, Guangzhou, introduced a begging ban in April.
